Hey guys~ Happy Wednesday! It’s the middle of the week and I can feel the weekend coming on! I hope you have gotten a chance to go outside and breath in the amazing spring air.  Such a gorgeous day today!

I started  my am with a vigorous vinyasa flow from YogaGlo taught by Kathryn Budig.  It was amazing and just what I needed.  It was a quick moving class that really created heat and energy!  I also noticed how much cat hair was located in my rug.  Smile What I loved about the class was that Kathryn was a natural teacher, funny at the right times, and very real.  She talked about being here right now and remembering how it feels to breath- because you will have to come right back to that place when things get touch.  And that doesn’t just mean on the mat- that means in life! When the class was really moving our hearts were racing she said at one point- this is what it feels like to be alive .  Loved that.

I had the pleasure last night of teaching at Charm City Yoga Midtown to 61 hot yogis and yoginis.  One of my students Karla is moving to Berkley, California.  We will miss you Karla!!!!!

Something to ponder

If you’re bored with life- you don’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things-you don’t have enough goals. ~Lou Holtz

I wanted to talk about goals- not the soccer goal Smile, but what kind of goals do you have, want to have, and how to make them happen.

The problem with a lot of goal setting is that we create these outlandish expectations for ourselves and we don’t allow space and time for things to unfold or blossom.  003

Your goal or goals must be reasonable and you have to be passionate about making it happen.  You have to be prepared to be focus and have time a and energy to commit to make it happen.  If you want to be a teacher; research 200 hour trainings, prices, classes and see if you can make it happen.  If you need to save up for it, make a budget that will allow you to add some to savings so you can take the next one available.  This also goes for any kind of training- Zumba, step, hip hop, personal training…Morgan are you reading this????

Here are some other tips:

Have a timeline

Ask yourself if your goal is reasonable

Does your goal align with your core values?

Are you motivated and focused enough to make it happen?

Also ask yourself: What are my strength’s, passions, and inspirations?

Write these things down, create a list, and let your mind really create the image that you want!

Just remember to be mindful of your vision and that if things change it’s OK.  If something isn’t working- scratch it and move on to the next!

One of my goals is to just drink more water!

Look who was watching me blog.  You know I’m a sucker for animals!

I hope you have a great day!!!
