Hi there! How was your weekend??? Things have been pretty fabulous over here on my end. I’ve had a pretty relaxing weekend as I worked all last weekend and just kind of felt like I needed some time to do relax and do nothing. Do you ever feel that way???
On Friday after I taught at Charm City Yoga, I jolted off to Roland Park Country School to teach yoga to some lovely high schoolers.
One of my oldest childhood friends, Annie, teaches dance there so I usually teach them twice a year. I love it because the girls are young and fun and eager to learn and try new things.
I used to dance back in the day so it’s always nice to teach girls something I love who are pursuing something I did when I was their age.
The journey between who you once were,
and who you are now becoming,
is where the dance of life really takes place.

After that, I helped M move…again. I really detest moving. The last time I moved- it was a less than pleasant experience hauling crap up four flights of steps. I think my friends and family really saw an ugly side of me that day.
Here’s M in her storage space. You don’t want to see what the inside of the place looked like. Lol.
Ridiculous.
Shilpa helped too!
Even though M tried to boss us around, we reminded her that we were helping her so she couldn’t get too uppity with us. Lol.
I don’t like moving because it is just a pure state of chaos. The packing, the unpacking, you don’t know where you want to put things, ugh. I don’t like it. Not to mention, your gross, sweating, and have a headache and backache by the end of the whole damn ordeal. Lol
Moving on! No pun intended!

**Something to think about**
Last night I was talking to a friend, let’s call him Mr. T, and we both were talking about work affecting you when you’re not at work. He was telling me that people call, text, email him, when he’s away on vacation and I could only feel his pain. I think it’s hard to really unplug sometimes.
Even though we physically cannot go on vacation every time we need a break (note my cell phone in the corner there) I think it’s important to take a break, step away, and relax.
So how do you unplug?
Have a tea or coffee break
Spend time with friends
Do some yoga- of course
Do something creative- like knitting ![]()
Hang out with your furry buddies
Take a nap
Read a new book
Sip some bubbly
Go on a hike
Write in your journal
Go to a museum
Enjoy the cool fall weather!!!
